Established in 1971, today the name of "Sabre" is synonymous with top quality bridlework. We still employ traditional methods of manufacture, producing high quality, hand finished products of proven practicality.
All of our bridles are handmade; cut, prepared, stitched and finished by our master craftsmen & women. We ourselves are riders & horse owners; we use the products, we know how they work, we appreciate what riders want & we understand the effect products have on the horse and it's actions. We are proud to see our products used by leading riders in the field. Our aim is to produce quality products that are as functional as they are elegant, with the horses' comfort and protection a priority; our unique design features are often imitated...never surpassed.

You certainly offer the best quality of leather (matched with Jeffries I have to say) but with the added touches like the sabre emblem on the bridle and metalwork options, they are so classy! Before I bought my first Sabre product, I had purchased many expensive 'designer' bridles, including Stubben and Passier, and was always very disappointed with the leather quality. My pet hate is struggling to get buckles undone and hard leather, URGH!!! For a while I was spending a fortune buying new bridles, then selling them on a few days later. I collected my parcel from the post office today, everything arrived safe and in tact, I cant tell you how pleased and thrilled I was with the bridle parts, it absolutely made my day - I will try them on him tonight and let you know everything is OK tomorrow. BTW the grackle is lovely - but then all Sabre stuff is! It's weird cos tack shops out here don't smell like new leather like they do back home (what's that say about the leather they use??!!) so when i opened the box and the familiar smell of English tack hit me I had to take a moment to appreciate It ! - lol Thanks again for helping me - and ill let you know how it fits, Rachael.
